3) When you go for a walk, maintain a leash.
4) Keep a collar and up-to-date ID tag and license on the collar and consider giving your pet additional security with a microchip.
5) Have your pet spayed or neutered.

1) After the police report is done, make a flier that include pet’s characteristics such as pet’s name, markings, color, and breed as well as a current photo. Include the location where your pet was last seen, and a contact or 24-hour phone/message number. If there are any medical needs or dietary concerns should also be noted on your flyer.
